Coffee orders can say a surprising amount about a person. Some people keep it simple, drinking black coffee, no exceptions. Others prefer a latte, a seasonal favorite, or something that barely resembles coffee at all. And then there are those who would happily skip the coffee altogether.
In honor of National Coffee Day, we asked the Lifescape team a simple question: What’s your usual coffee order?
As it turns out, our answers are about as varied as our team. From Glen’s unapologetically black coffee to lavender oat milk lattes, dirty chai, pumpkin spice and a few decidedly non-coffee alternatives, here’s what you’ll find in our cups.
Glen Smith
Black Coffee (period). I’m a purist. Any additives dilute the coffee experience.
Elijah Waugh
I don’t drink coffee, but am a big energy drink person.
Katie Riodan
My usual coffee order is Lavender Oat milk Latte. But my all-time favorite is Hawaii Kona Coffee Coconut macadamia nut latte. I was introduced to this in Hawaii and have never had anything else come close!
Charley Lewis
Mocha Latte unless it is Pumpkin Spice time!
Tonia Cantrell
Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso or a Chai latte(iced or hot)
Karen Graham
Starbucks Pike Place Roast, black, shot of espresso, or Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
Eva Gavin
Black coffee with whatever creamer is available, but I prefer plain unsweet iced tea
Kelsey Eastridge
Black, DAILY. Special Occasion Coffee: Dirty Chai with oat milk warms my soul.
Whitney Williams
I’m not much of a coffee drinker. I prefer a sugar-free loaded tea.
Whether you take your coffee black, iced, shaken, flavored or not at all, there’s something fun about the little rituals that get us through the day.
At Lifescape, we spend plenty of time talking about serious subjects, so National Coffee Day gives us a good excuse to share a lighter glimpse of the people behind the work we do.
Now it’s your turn: What’s in your cup?
